Blue Mountains Food Services (BMFS) is a not-for-profit charitable organisation which provides a range of programs and services to residents of the Blue Mountains. These Include:
aged care services,
volunteering opportunities, and
a social enterprise cafe.
We are a proud member of the NSW Meals on Wheels Association and a registered NDIS provider, with over 20 years’ experience in the community, disability and hospitality sector.
To be successful in this role, among other attributes, you will need to be experienced in preparing food in a restaurant, café or community kitchen, have strong organisational and prioritisation skills and previously supervised others. An understanding of the dietary needs of elderly people is also important, as is a strong alignment with the organisation’s values. You will need to have completed a Food Safety Supervisors Certificate and First Aid course or be willing to.
