Program Support Officer
25 hours per week over 5 days
Blue Mountains Food Services (BMFS) is a not-for-profit charitable organisation which provides a range of programs and services to residents of the Blue Mountains. These Include:
aged care services,
volunteering opportunities, and
a social enterprise cafe.
We are a proud member of the NSW Meals on Wheels Association and a registered NDIS provider with over 20 years’ experience in the community, disability and hospitality sector.
We are seeking an experienced individual to undertake this important support role. The role, which reports to the General Manager, is critical in supporting our programs. Key responsibilities include:
Providing office and program supports as required
Responding to volunteer intake enquiries
Assisting with the rostering and administration of volunteers as required
Coordinating personal care and social support services.

To be successful in this role, among other attributes, you will need to come from a background in the not-for-profit or community sector and have at least 3 years’ recent experience in office administration work. Demonstrated experience in working in a multi-faceted role and a busy office environment is essential. Strong time management skills and attention to detail and the ability to work cooperatively in a team are taken for granted. Experience rostering staff or volunteers will be viewed favourably.
