Dermot Cullinane
I began volunteering with Meals on Wheels in 2018 while working at the Commonwealth Bank through a workplace initiative that encouraged community involvement. After retiring in 2020, I joined Blue Mountains Food Services as a volunteer driver.
In 2021, I was invited to join the Board as a Director and was elected President and Chair in 2022, a role I continue to hold.
My background is in Corporate Banking, specialising in Risk and Relationship Management, with these roles forming the final 20 years of my 40-year career at the Commonwealth Bank. I deeply admire the BMFS team’s commitment to supporting the community through its restaurants, cafés, Cook & Connect programs, and meal delivery services.
While the aged care sector continues to evolve, I am confident BMFS is well positioned to continue delivering vital services for many years to come.

Norman Lenffer
I joined Blue Mountains Food Services in 2021 as a Meals on Wheels delivery driver and later as a Social Support volunteer. In 2023, I had the privilege of joining the Board as a Director, contributing to the governance and strategic direction of the organisation.
I bring 40 years’ experience in the financial industry, including leadership roles across programming, compliance, and cyber security, which enables me to apply strong risk and governance perspectives to BMFS.
As the aged care sector continues to evolve, it is essential that BMFS remains resilient and responsive in an increasingly competitive environment. I am committed to supporting the organisation to adapt to these changes while ensuring its core focus—care and respect for our clients—remains at the heart of everything we do.

Marianne Millan
I joined the Board to contribute to a highly respected organisation delivering vital services to the Blue Mountains community.
I became a Board member in October 2022 and also commenced volunteering with the Cook & Connect program.
My professional background spans 41 years in education, where I held roles including teacher, Inspector, School Education Director, and State Office Director. I have also previously served as a Board member and Deputy Chair of Barnardos Australia.
I greatly admire the dedication of BMFS staff and volunteers in delivering high-quality services to every client. I am committed to supporting BMFS to remain strong and sustainable as it continues to provide quality services across both the NDIS and aged care sectors.

Kerry Healey Binns
I have been a volunteer with Blue Mountains Food Services for over 10 years, supporting a range of roles including office support, client engagement, and social support.
I joined BMFS out of a strong belief in the importance of good nutrition and a desire to help build a compassionate community.
Now in my third year on the Board, I bring experience in business administration, communications, and philosophy. I am also a member of the Workplace Health and Safety Committee and contribute to projects that enhance our Lawson site as a welcoming space for both people and wildlife.
I am committed to supporting BMFS to remain responsive, resilient, and relevant as it continues to grow and serve the community.

Rob Lonsdale
I joined Blue Mountains Food Services in 2022 after relocating to Katoomba from Brisbane.
Our son, Elijah, who has Down syndrome, enjoys the Cook@Home service, and I was keen to support BMFS for the meaningful opportunities it provides for people living with disability.
With 23 years’ experience in food retail, I enjoy applying my management and operational expertise as a volunteer.
My long-term hope is for BMFS to continue its strong growth trajectory—maintaining and expanding community services, underpinned by sound financial foundations and a motivated, valued team that is proud of the organisation they contribute to.

Stewart Williams
I have been a volunteer with Blue Mountains Food Services for over 15 years, initially delivering meals before moving into social support, and for the past three years serving as a member of the Board.
I previously held the role of Director at Wentworth Community Housing from 2011 to 2013.
Prior to my retirement in 2010, I spent more than 40 years working across a range of roles within the property and building industry, including with the Lend Lease Corporation and as a partner in a Development and Project Management consultancy.
I am proud to be part of the BMFS Board, supporting and guiding a highly professional and enthusiastic management team in delivering essential meals and social support services to the Blue Mountains community. I look forward to contributing to the organisation’s continued growth.
